Description

This ranch, South Date 5, is irrigated with Colorado River water through IID's system of canals and drains. This property is south of El Centro, and is in a known Geothermal resource area. There are sub-surface rights available with the sale of the surface rights. Mineral rights income is available on request. The Soils are primarily Type 110 (40%) and Type 115 (46%), and to a lessor extent Type 114 (14%). The property has a history of growing general field crops (forages like Bermuda Grass Hay and Alfalfa Hay), and the property is good enough that it can grow some produce crops like Broccoli, Sweet Corn and perhaps some Sweet Onions.
